Warranty Coverage

Thank you for choosing Sullivan Adventures Co. At Sullivan Adventures Co, we strive to provide the highest quality Roof Top Tents and 270-Degree Awnings at competitive prices. Your satisfaction is our top priority. Our products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, protecting against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What is Covered

If your product shows defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at our discretion, free of charge. This includes any malfunctioning components or parts.

What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Installation Damage: Accidental or intentional damage incurred during installation. We recommend using a licensed vehicle accessory installation company to ensure proper fitting. Sullivan Adventures Co is not responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from self-installation.

  • Misuse and Neglect: Damage from misuse, neglect of rust prevention, canvas punctures, adverse weather conditions, condensation, or mould growth.

  • Change of Preference: Returns for products that have been opened, removed from original packaging, or installed due to a change of preference.

  • Modifications and Faulty Installation: Any modifications made to the product or damage from faulty installation will void the warranty.

  • Improper Use: Damage from improper use, such as forcing zippers.

  • Loss or Theft: Loss or theft of the product after delivery, whether the delivery was signed for or left in a designated safe location.

  • Customer Transport: Damage incurred during transit for items picked up by the customer.

  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, and damage caused by UV exposure, wind, or other environmental factors.

Additional Conditions for 270-Degree Awnings

Our 270-Degree Awnings come with a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. However, due to the nature of awnings being exposed to outdoor elements, this warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by wind, rain, hail, or other weather events.

  • General wear and tear from outdoor use, including UV exposure and fabric deterioration over time.

  • Misuse or neglect, such as improper storage, failure to secure the awning properly, or excessive force applied to zippers and hinges.

  • Improper use beyond the awning's intended purpose, including unsupported modifications.

  • Damage from lack of maintenance, including rust build-up or failure to dry the awning properly before storage.

While our 270-Degree Awnings are freestanding, they also come with optional support poles for added stability in extreme weather conditions. We strongly recommend using these poles in windy conditions to prevent damage. Failure to do so may void warranty claims related to wind damage.

Professional Installation Requirement

To ensure optimal performance and safety, all products should be professionally installed by a licensed vehicle accessory installation company. Self-installation may lead to improper fitting, which can cause damage and void the warranty.

Claiming Warranty

To make a warranty claim, contact our customer service department with your proof of purchase. You may need to provide additional information about the issue. If the issue is covered under warranty, we will arrange for repair or replacement as quickly as possible.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with the product or this warranty, including but not limited to loss of use, revenue, profits, or data.

Rights under Consumer Law

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Effective Date

This warranty is effective from the date of purchase and is valid for 12 months thereafter.

Note: Please retain your proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or invoice, as it will be required to process any warranty claims.
